I’m a human being. I live on planet Earth with approximately 7.2 billion other human beings. We all have opinions. We are, approximately, 7.2 billion unique souls. I am one of them. I have my opinions, and this is where I put them. You can agree with them, or you can disagree with them. You can comment, and if you have a good reason why my opinion is wrong, I may change it. I’m flexible like that. I haven’t always been. But I have lived long enough to realize opinions are fluid and can change as knowledge is collected. My opinions have changed drastically over the years, and I expect they are not done changing, as I am not done living.
Some additional basic facts about myself for point of reference:
I am a caucasian. I am a male. I am a bisexual in a long-term same-sex relationship. I am a member of the generation called X, neither a boomer, nor a millennial, a middle child, if you will (even if you won’t). I am an actual middle child. I am a Gemini, if you believe in the whole astrology thing. Even if you don’t, I’m still a Gemini. I am not a Christian, but I used to be, and have read the Christian Bible, cover to cover. Reading the Bible is what convinced me to abandon my faith, because I found it ridiculous. I am not an atheist. My current belief structure is a bizarre amalgamation of wonderful ideas espoused in Christian Gnosticism, Native American belief systems, Buddhism, and Hinduism. Christians would call me a Pagan. I call myself a philosopher.
I firmly believe that’s all you need to know about me. I also have no doubt that if you are even an amateur hacker, you can discover and reveal my true identity, as I have not tried very hard to conceal it. I ask that you refrain from doing so.
